I wanted to reach out to you to express my gratitude for the support I’ve received over the past 17 years from you and your team. There were countless times where you simply seemed to drop whatever you were doing to engage directly in one of the many search assignments we worked on over the years.
As the head of HR for [CONFIDENTIAL], [CONFIDENTIAL] and most recently [CONFIDENTIAL], which were all PE owned firms, we were continually on the lookout for talent. And when the need came up, we of course needed the candidates within a short period of time. It was not uncommon to challenge you within days of engaging the search to call asking for an interview schedule.
What I most remember most is once we agreed on a candidate, you helped get them on board. Given the uncertainty of the PE world, this was never an easy task. You have a way about you that relates well with the candidate expressing true concern for their well being coupled with addressing both the position and business requirements.
One other point, you always maintained contact with your candidates – well after bringing them on board. This partnership clearly sets you apart from other firms who seem to want to move on to the next search rather than developing a true relationship.
